The cozy rooms had plenty of space to relax in, and we even had access to a small self-catering kitchen. We also appreciated being able to take food for lunch for an extra charge, which saved us money on snacks during the day.

The biggest problem we had was with the beds. They were too soft and weared out, with thin pillows, making it uncomfortable to sleep.

The dining room was nice and the sitting area was lovely. The staff were friendly and really helpful. The evening meal was delicious and the breakfast had a good selection of Norwegian food. The location of the hotel was very convenient for cross country skiing and it was right at the bottom of the lift, making it easy to access the open fells above. I would definitely recommend taking a taxi up from the station, as it is quite a way up, but walking down is also an option. I had a great experience and I would highly recommend this hotel.
